Resting at the foot of Mont-Blanc this skiing area has no equal…Skiing in Les Houches combines long descents through pine and larch forests within view of the spectacular peaks of the "Aiguilles de Midi".
Not surprisingly it is the location of regular international events and serves as the training ground for the French National Ski Team. The ski area is the largest linked area in the Chamonix Valley. The varied gradient of runs make it particularly family friendly and is ideal for all levels.
Les Houches is just one hour from Geneva and 6km from Chamonix town. There is a regular bus service with the bus stop right outside your door. The " Le Kandahar" apartment is in an ideal location right at the end of the piste, so you can ski down to your pad at the end of the day.
